If I ever got the chance to be a Councilor, I'm gonna commit to it with whatever I have and help the school. I agree with Ros that it's not about the work, I'm interpreting this as it's not about the amount of work given, it won't affect you in anyway if you love your job. And I will love my job if I actually get in. I don't mind my schedule being hectic if these are the things occupying my time. Take the pride in your work to improve the school.

Well, I guess I don't have to be repetitive here if you've read Roslyn's blog and I'm not being ego down here, trying to bribe teachers into allowing me in SC, even if I don't get it, it just means that I'm still not enough to be a councilor. And I will try again next year.

It just goes out to the current SLs and the new SLs next year.

Ah well. Today went to Gerry's house to do Geog Proj for two hours, think we can get the project done quite fast. And I spent the rest of the time from 3.30 to 6.30 in the library with Su Hang getting the physics elec project done. And we haven't done too much, due to the chim-ness. =.=

Meh. Later we went to pastamania to eat, hmms. Nice food. whee xD


Meh. This Sept Holiday isn't gonna be a relaxing one. Blah, since when did I have one =.=

Okay I've got alot of work to catch up. Like, to practice Trigo, getting suckier at it day by day. To study Chem, to study Physics, to study 2 lectures of Geog and so on. =.= Oh and Bio. argh.

There isn't alot of homework but a lot a lot of projects. >.<>.<

Teacher's Day Concert ystd was not bad, didn't screw up at all :D Whee! The dance was like one of the best performances. I like the Haruhi Dance xD
So all the preparation work we've done before it was not wasted. =)

Anyway, I went back to St.Margs and met the teachers. Wah they were really nice :) Chatted about what's happening to each of us and they had to go off for an Amazing Race. Hahah. So Esther, Cherie, Mian Jun, Nat and I went to Plaza Sing after that, we had lunch there and Nat, Mian Jun, Cherie went home after that. The three of us left just wandered around the plaza and I bought two bowls at Daiso. LOL!

They are cute okay. Little brown bowls with kitten designs :D hahaha. Omg, this reminds of me Al. Everybody loves Kittens! xD Hahaha.

Okay I bought Breaking Dawn. :D

Surprisingly, my parents were at Plaza Sing as well. Apparently they were at the Singtel Outlet to renew my Dad's 2 year plan and they paid an extra $50 to get the iPhone. Wow.

But the plan now is increased by basic $25 per month to $95 per month. Actually no big diff. Since my dad's phone bills always shoot over $100. The plan he had previously was 100mins free Outgoing, now it's 500mins free Outgoing. hahaha.

Oh at night, we went to watch Wall. E. :D Super cute la! xD hahaha. Wall E is like so funny. Everyone should go watch it! xD

Okay I'm now in school using either Yankang or Michael's laptop.

Was actually doing the book launch ideas with Su Hang and then I typed out all the materials and stage movements. whee. *Feels accomplished*. :)

Anyway, I just remembered we had the Math presentation yesterday which turned out to be quite good but in the end the way we solved the probabilites was a bit wrong =/ hahaha. bleh. Mr Lee said it was unexplored territory. =P Oh we had 3 year ones joining our class for the lesson and they presented their project about "How Hardworking Are You?". It was stats about the CAP of students from Year One to Year Four. It was quite an interesting project, esp to see which people are more hardworking xD hahahaha.

Anyway, one of them who presented, I think he's called Wei Hao has got really really good presenting skills. =D Actually the way he talk reminds me of Roy. LOL.

I wonder which of us in Year Two has got such presenting skills in back Year One. hais.


Okay today was kinda slack.

Had Chinese and surprisingly I finished Gong Han during the lesson itself. During english, Ms Lam didn't come so I ended up rehearsing the Math Presentation with Gerry and Michelle instead of doing English practices =P

After that went down to the hall and listened to a talk about protecting Women by UNIFEM. And went back to class for mentoring when we're supposed to go down and look at the Career Fair. Took a lot brochures, or rather, everybody from the booths chucked brochures to me along with their free gifts which I must say, are really cool and nice. haahahha. Especially some. The bottle from PSC was funny. x)

Anyway, talked to this guy from NUS Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Firstly went to ask him about his solar panel displays which looked super cool x) Oh then he went on to tell me about which part of the department he was - electrical energy systems and components. I questioned him about his department and he even talked about the researches he was doing.

Super cool. xD Okay thank god I took the Beyond Foundation Physics Module which allowed to say something to get the conversation going without him talking alone, if not so noob can. >.<

Oh I saw Eugene at the same booth and YES I POKED HIM XD lalalala. =P

ARGH my brain is currently dead from all the thinking for the Book Launch. Brain power drainage. =.= and I'm like so out of ideas can.

Okay finished up Geog homework, and spend surprisingly little amount of time to finish studying for Chem quiz tmr. And I just finished editing Math presentation powerpoint.

Okay I'm talking to Cheryl over the msn now. Suddenly started talking about what to do in Uni when we're only 15. Well. I'm currently fine with all three sciences and Math since I have the same amount of passion in each now. Bio is getting nicer. :) And Chem is still leading but who knows what happens in my next few years in NUSHS? =P

Im was talking about Med, my parents had been telling me how nice it is to take med. Well, i'm certainly not going to do anything that has got to do with Surgery but not all doctors do surgery after all. Maybe can try to come up with some cure for Aids. Haha, who can tell with certainty that there is absolutely no cure to Aids. -.O

Chem, I have totally no idea what am I gonna do next time if I actually take Chem. Teacher? Mentor of research projects in NUSHS? A researcher myself? But isn't super fun and interesting if I become some mentor of some project and look at what ideas the students come up with then feel the accomplishment after that when we get the project done. x)

Physics. Okay this one is quite interesting, after I took the Beyond Foundation Physics module. One question asked from Mr Ang whenever I said something in my reflection: "Will you be interested to specialize in this area?" For example, is there a way that such ____ can take over the fuel? hahaha.

Math. Nonono, I'm not gonna be a mathematician, sit in the room and play with numbers the whole day. Yes that's how great mathematicians discover great stuff (I think), but that's not my cup of tea >.< haha. Maybe a teacher. Oh well. Mrs Phang took Math in Uni but she's was a principal and now working in NUS for administration.

Haha, enough of such thoughts, shall go to sleep now. byebye!


Yesterday was fun? :D hahaha.

Hmm the NMOS went well, thought I thought more people will be coming. Before the whole thing start, Shao Hao was playing DS so I koped from him and played Super Mario. Keep getting killed by the Mushrooms! >.< and flying mushrooms. =.= Gerry was laughing like crazy and Gary came over, saw what I was playing and laughed as well. o.O then I turned to see who's that, then got killed. >.<

Okay the prize presentation was okay. I screwed up abit cos I forgot to pass Mrs Chan the souvenir for the RGPS people. Meh. Later on everything went well, felt weird when I had nothing to do but to stand on stage and stare at the audience =.=

After that walked on the concourse with Michelle to get food and then went down to Council Room with Gary to return blazer.

Went to Marina Square with my parents after that to go to Muji and get Michelle's Birthday Present. Drove off to Plaza Singapore to look at curtains for the new house and bought the teachers' day presents. :D

Dropped by my house to pick up the spoilt Cable for Cable TV and went to Tampines Mall to get it changed. :D added a few more channels as well! :DD yayy.

Hmm, then my mum wanted to watch movie again. She's like so addicted to movies. bleh. We bought the 7.15pm movie for Meet Dave. Note that it was already 6.55pm.

Ah well, it was a super funny and nice movie. Super lot of imaginations and I realised I've been watching alot of such movies lately.

Meet Dave is basically about this bunch of people from the planet Neil, coming to earth in a human-looking spaceship (yes the Dave person u see on the movie poster), they are in fact only 5cm tall. They wanted to go come to Earth to throw this ball into the ocean, so they could gather salt and go back to Neil to restore their energy sources which cannot afford even 1 generation.

However that didnt happen in the end! :DD go watch it if you wanna know. hahahah. xD

Okay then I came home and watched the movies channel (yes MOVIES AGAIN) while I packed the teachers' day presents. The movies are super nice, especially those Hong Kong Movies, they rock! xD

Okay today. now. I HAVE FINALLY FINISHED PACKING THE PRESENTS! :D (no, I didn't stay up over night).

Oh while I was packing the presents today, watched the last 20minutes of Mission to Mars. I wonder what is wrong with me, keep watching such kind of movies recently =.=

Anyway. It's quite interesting. The last part talked about these three astronauts who walked into this place which shone light on Mars. After they went in, the door behind them shut and they thought they were trapped as all signals between them and their spaceship were cut off. The place they were in was totally white and solid, can't really see where are the walls, and their equipment detected nitrogen and oxygen. In other words, air. :)

Then there is this black hole opening up, they walked in and saw the solar system. There was this planet which looked exactly like Earth but it was in the orbit of Mars. I thought it was how Mars will look like in the future but it turned out to be how Mars was like before. A Marsian then appeared infront of them, with a tear in its eye. Suddenly this fire ball hit Mars and Mars became how it is like now. Thousands of spaceship then fled from Mars to another place. One left behind and the Marsian took a strand of its DNA and placed it in the ship. The ship then took off and flew towards Earth, there were no living organisms then. The ship hit Earth and the DNA became organisms and the organisms slowly evolved to how they are like today.

Like Wow, we came from Marsians. :D hahahaha. Marsians gave the Earthians life. hahah.

Quite interesting, at least it shows why there're signs of water on Mars. hm. hahah.

Bleh, I wanna sleep but I better do my Geog first. Argh Geog again. =.=


Okay today was quite, interesting? hahaha.

Chinese test was a major screw up as compared to all other chinese papers I've done in my whole life. Okay except maybe for those that I did back in China when I was in Pri 1 or 2. >.< Nvm, not gonna think about it.

Math lesson was good. hahas. Trigo is fun :D

Geog lesson was quite slack cos I can't really find anything about the rocks on the Com and I have a feeling that I need to redo everything because I misunderstood the question =.=

Anyway, after that went for lunch and went back up. Had another 2 hours before the NMOS Rehearsal so I eventually started doing the Trigo Assignment 1 which was only due after the Sept hols. Surprsingly I finished 20 minutes before the rehearsal!

Then watched Daniel play Counter Strike on Edwin's laptop! :DDD Super funny la.

He used a knife to kill enemies in a gun fight! hahahaahha XDD (that was done on purpose though). =P Okay then I tried playing. XD

It's a SUPER good stress reliever just like LieroX. xD *Bang Bang! Slash Slash!* xD

Well, not bad afterall. I got to play an erm, important role? I think. Got to do stage ushering of GOH and so on then have to help with prize presentation. =P

Oh after the rehearsal I heard CO playing so I went up and instead of joining the practice, I ended up in a "talk". hahah. =P but well, managed to get some stuff organized. After the CO, went with my parents to Great World City and ate at the Fei Cui Restaurant. :D

I MUST say the food there is super nice! :DDD

Oh I met Reico there as well :D hahaha. Very unexpected.


Okay, last test tomorrow. :D
At least there won't be another one for the next 3 weeks or so and that is GOOD. =P

Okay, had been super busy with studying for tests and council application.

Tests. What a nuisance. Math on Monday and I screwed it. It's supposed to be a near perfect mark paper and at the last five minutes, I panicked and WHILE CHECKING, i forgot to do a step and thought my correct answer was wrong and changed everything. Gonna lost like 6 marks for that. Eesh. Hope it's still at least 24/30 so I still get my A. =/

Biology. It's quite okay though still not so easy since I didn't really study the practical very thoroughly. =/ Well, at least I still remember my (25%) Alcohol =.=

Okay council application.

I'm done with the form. yay. Took me exactly 2 days to complete it.

Okay hms, had a so called interview with Reico and that really got me thinking of stuff. It's late now and I shall go sleep. Shall give it a quick think through the next time I blog =P

Haha, Friday had CO and felt accomplished during it cos we got so much stuff done.

Saturday morning went to school and help out at Year Three admission test. Quite surprised that most of the people who came to apply were foreigners like me. From China, Philippines and so on. Hmms, went off at 9.45am with my parents to go to Tampines Mall. LOL. It's like so early. And we watched The Dark Knight, 11.20am show. haahha.

Hm, afternoon slept for 4 hours -.- Cos I was extremely tired due to the lack of sleep and I almost doze off during the movie.

At night, Wow. So many things are happening.

And I can't be bothered to care anymore. If you want to stay like that then go ahead. At least you can stay out of this whole thing isn't it. That's good.



Okay seriously no mood to blog now but well, needs to rant.

Okay I seriously see no point in spending time, thoughts and effort on this any more. Like I want to continue it no more. It's totally, no point. When this one just can't be a little bit more sensitive and responsible and the other one is just so cold blooded and self-centered. It's so. Hopeless. I THOUGHT I could always wait.

Nothing much happened over the past two days.

It's just mugging, mugging and more mugging. =/

Anyway, today was kinda fun! =D Firstly, the Geog Test is finally OVER! YES! xD I realised I didn't have to spend so much time on the rocks chapter yesterday cos apparently it wasn't really tested at all thought I did mention igneous rocks under the volcano question.

Well, the test was pretty okay I guess?

Okay after that, we had Sexuality Education before I go down to the Chem Lab to help taking pictures for the cheMagic book. It was FUN! =D

Oh, taking about that, during the yesterday's phototaking, we lit fire on alcohol and when Kenneth was trying to put out the fire after the shot with a wet towel, the alcohol went onto the towel and the towel starts burning. Apparently the phototaking taking was done on a huge piece of Mahjong paper and the paper caught fire! o.O The bench was burning. >.< So we run around taking beakers and started pouring water on it like mad. xD Gary is scared of fire. xD

And yes, we used two glass rods as chopsticks to put the marshmallow into the vacuum glass with a 5 cent on top of it. xDD it was MY idea. =P Kenneth commented that with such level of relevance, I'm gonna be the next person who sets the school fire alarm on =P. hahah.

Anyway, half way through the phototaking, Nic couldn't hack into Gary's laptop so we had to wait and meanwhile I just went up to the CO Room and check on their percussion practice. It was SUPER FUN! =D hahahaha. Nic (Wong) is good at teaching, and I realised how pro Cheryl is at percussion. QC was dragged into the performance by Nic just because he happen to be there. xD And being there for like 15 minutes, just gives me irregular heartbeat. You get what I mean. =P

Okay, came down, did more phototaking, and went off to Pizza Hut at JEC with Nic (Yeo), Gary and Kenneth. Gary and I are both scared of 20degrees air-coned rooms. xD LOL. After that they left and I hanged around JEC myself to wait for my dad to pick me up. And guess what, I saw Su Hang, Ting Ting, Joanne, Weiren, Tricia, Jun Yup, Cassandra, Amanda there. Got dragged in to take neos xD hahah.

Meh, I better start doing my Bio Prac Report and start studying abit of Chem. -.-

Terrible, 3 tests next week, one on Friday.

TERRIBLE!

Just when I thought I can finish the Math Project today and strike one big thing off my to-do list, I realised something terribly wrong about the project. We forgot one step of the game >.< AHHH.

nvm. stuff happens.

Hm, yesterday was the school National Day celebration. Performed for the concert opening and stayed in CO Room after we moved the instruments up. There were, Qian Cheng, Gregory, Cheryl, Ting Ting, Vivian and I. Well, we were so initiated yesterday that we went to sort all the scores, packed the dizi cupboard, and cleaned the CO Room. O.O QC even went to move all the furnitures around and placed them neatly cos the mess was just unbearable XD hahaha. And then he was played the drums in a funny way xD but I think that's how some professional drummers play like, is it? =P

Oh there's one super funny convo with Gregie.
ME: Hey your Acer's black!
Greg: Yeahhh.
Me: -lifts up the laptop screen- Hey there's an ant crawling on it.
Greg: It came from my house.
Me: Your HOUSE?
Greg: Yeah, it's my pet!
Me: O.O huh! You keep an ant as your pet?
Greg: Yeah! I always have food on my laptop!
Me: Oh right, -lifts up the laptop and looks for the ant- It's gone! >.<
Greg: Oh it went in (to the laptop).

HAHHA. Funny la he. xD

Okay after that went to Chem Lab to help doing experiments for the cheMagic Book phototaking. Some experiments didn't work really well and we ended up taking super long to do one experiment.

Oh after that I went home and slept 4 hours immediately in uniform! OMG. >.< Watched olympics opening ceremony at night and it was just awesome. Zhang Yi Mo is sure pro. hahah. I love the last part when Li Ning was "running" on the scroll in the air. hahaha. :D The best opening ceremony I've ever watched. I just wonder how on Earth did they get that huge number of people moving around in such a synchronized way.

Missed NDP on TV today cos went to Michelle's house to do Math in the morning and went to watch a movie called "Journey to the Centre of Earth", reaching home at 9pm.

It was a super nice sci-fi Movie. :D I wonder HOW on Earth did the director thought of such stuff to be at the centre of Earth, like what Travor in the movie said, "World within the world.". There's even stuff like dinosaurs, HUGE Magnetic Rocks that repel from a magnetic field in the centre of Earth, Gigantic Mushrooms, Carnivorous plants and Mica.

Like, WOWW. ahahaha. Also a movie with overflow of mainly Geog and Physics, plus bits of Chemistry and Bio. Now I know that Magnesium burns easily in presence of sparks. xD Anw.

Doing 3 projects simultaneously now. >.<


LOL. Eugene said he has nothing to comment on my posts (refer to tagboard), so I shall blog about something, constructive? hahah. Okay for the past few months I've been blogging about what I did and whatever random thoughts that came across my mind and sometimes using my blog as a place to rant. hahaha. xD multi-purpose, isn't it?

You know, now all I wished for, is a day of peace, a 100% holiday. When I can sleep in the morning peacefully, without having an alarm to wake me up, or to worry about the upcoming tests, project due dates and so on. I can sit and read a book, surf the net for all I want for the day without worrying for what's even due tomorrow.

The next few weeks seems to have a lot of holidays, but they are just holidays in name.

Sigh.

99.9% of seniors say that year two sem 2 is slack. But I don't get why it is slack with all this excessive amount of work that's driving me crazy.

This is TERRIBLE. okay maybe the year two sem 2 last time was slack because the tests were really scattered, there wasnt such a thing as common test week and for some reason, they don't seem to have humanities this sem.

I am seriously against the Common Test week thing, no offence to any teachers reading this but really. It is just like exam weeks, only that we don't have papers every day, maybe twice per day, or two days a week, or worse, Three days per week on alternate days.

I mean, they used to do that too, last time. But it is a scattered in weeks which are far from each other. With the amount of work and the number of projects, it's really hard to study for tests, or meet up for projects during the weeks. Like, 5 consecutive weeks of tests, and 2 or 3 each week, how are we supposed to meet up for projects for a long time to get many things done at once? That also means, how many times do we have to meet for a project man. >.<

Nanyang has got a block test week, but it is in late June and they are informed before the June Holidays. They have the whole holiday to study!

Okay nevermind, enough of ranting. Again no offence to anybody, maybe it's just me who's not koping well. I must admit that I'm getting exhausted and procrastinating my work badly.

Okay the first two tests were literally way better than expected. I hope I can do the same for the rest of the tests. Especially Geog, which I don't seem to kope well with. It's not that I'm so desperate for an extremely high CAP or something at least around a 4.5. For some reason, I feel more exhausted than the rest. Maybe because of number extra things I'm involved in. Something tells me that I cannot let my CAP drop, and there's more than enough reasons for it.

Somethings are seriously getting on my nerves.

Ah I just came home, had a 30mins nap before I go and shower (yes I know I just dirtied my bed), ate and went to Tamp Mall to get Pencil lead, bought Vivian's birthday present, bought a random Hello Kitty pen, fetched mum and came home.

Anyway, today went down to Parkmall again with my parents to order furnitures. Sofa, Dinning Table, TV cabinet, coffee table.

Then went to Ikea to get a plank of wood for my Math Project. XD


Oh and I don't get why people don't have time to blog. o.O and then they need to remove it.

I mean, they can just leave and blog there and update when they feel like it. hahah.


omggggg.

There's so much homework to finish and I just spent like 1hour plus watching TV. =.=

Later still have to go Parkmall and pay deposit for furniture! rawrrr.

Man today is ultra tiring.

Morning reached Michelle's house at Clementi to do Math Project. We made 2 dices, decided on the game and listed out the other materials needed! =D hahah. great improvement.

Then we add at this Rockery's Pizza Restaurant near her house, had Hawaiian pizza for lunch =D

My parents then fetched me from there and we headed to the Park Mall to sign a contract with Kronotex company for the house flooring. It's wood and the whole house flooring's gonna cost a total of $11,000. *WTH* >.<

Okay then we went to look at the Sofa that we saw the last time but it was sold out and a new set would take up to 4 months so we had to change our mind. But the new design was better so we didn't complain about not getting the other sofa. hahah. The sofa's damn ex.

After that looked at coffee table, TV cabinet, Dinning table + chairs.

After my parents have made up their mind, we went back to the house to confirm dimensions so that the furniture could fit.

THIS IS ULTRA TIRING. but feels accomplished since I helped to give a lot of suggestions and ideas. yayy! XD

And after today, I realised I should really reconsider which piano am I gonna get before I tell my mum the price for the piano.

Reason being the whole house renovating, furniture and electrical appliances are gonna cost a hell lot. Flooring: $11,000. Furniture so far: $10,000. Electrical appliances are gonna cost another $9000 or so. This is cos the current house is rented so we don't really have any furniture to move there to continue using so we need to get everything new.

Terrible, i better reduce the price of the piano.


Choosing an upright piano as a beginner who had never learnt classical piano before is hard. Realllyyy hard. >.<

Okay I'm gonna start learning classical piano after I move, as someone who had only used the $2000 digital piano for Pop Piano class will never know how to differentiate between upright pianos for classical use. Man. This is terrible.

My mum wants me to decide on one for myself. Well. I just got advice from Joanne.

Joanne said that I should not just blindly go for the good one like the YUS5. Base it on the practicality of it. I need to spend time seasoning the piano when it first comes to my house and if not it will just go to waste. Also, I think for a beginner like me, getting YUS5 is..well, too much. YUS5 is bought only if you will practice it for 4 times a week, 1 hr each time. That one has no guarantees, looking at our school curriculum, especially when I go to Year 3.

U1 is a common choice for students. Hmm. But I may want a better one when I improve, and piano is a lifetime investment.

Thinking of getting U3.

A super amazing thing happened today! XD

I PASSED THE 2.4KM RUN!

WAHHAHAHAHAHAH.

LOL. okay I've too high, ignore me. x)

I passed it by 1minute plus nearly two minute with position 48, which is like, the same as last year - I think. Last year was 40 something as well. hahah

Okay a few people to thank:
Glen. haha. He was pacing and cheering for me and Nicole.
Mr Lee! =D He was cycling. >.< But nvm, he cheered for me! =D
Hui Shi! XD She literally ran and pulled me to the finishing line! hahah. (I pulled Nicole along when we passed her but she couldn't take it so I let go after awhile).
Andy. hahah. I remember him cheering for me and Huishi at the last 20m! xD

After the run, i was like totally dead. I can't even walk properly and I was literally walking like some jelly. o.O Took around 25 minutes to get back to normal before standing along the running track to cheer people. Paced with Cheryl when I see her walking towards the finishing line! =D Can't believe someone who can't run like me actually paced someone. =DDD yayy. *happy*

Oh the House Mascot competition was super nice and funny. hahaha. Fibo's using their Red Bull as usual. Faraday's one is nice, it's an unicorn by someone and Lian Han. They made it like a lion dance xD FLEMING! hahah, the mascot's wing dropped but Roy went to hold it for the mascot so it turned out okay =) I really like Nobel's! =D No complains about them winning. The dragon was cool with some smoke coming out from the nose XD and the nice with self-made instruments was really nice, plus those words Jing Min and Nathaniel said after the performance. =D

Hm, after that actually wanted to go watch Batman with Huishi and the rest but have to go to HDB Hub and take key for the new house with my parents. So we headed home, I showered, changed and drove to Toa Payoh. After that, we went to Plaza Sing to get my father's Bluetooth Earpiece repaired and went to IMM to look at more funitures o.O Then went to the Kronotex showrooms to decide on the flooring for the new house.

God, moving is like so tiring. >.< hahah.
