Well, today was kind of great. hahas. Maybe.
Bascially, I was able to get the Logic things Ms Lee was talking about during Math. yay.
and, WOAH, I've got second among the girls for what Mr Sunn called "Mini-Javelin Competition", I just threw the javelin and it eventually was a good throw! hahas! :D
For the Biology today, I was extrordinarily awake and was paying full attention to what Mr Soh was talking about. He's so much better at teaching Bio man, so far, I had never fell asleep in his class except the time when I was sick in school. aw. He made bio SO INTERESTING. hahas!
Mr Soh, "So, when I've got dysentery, I was like a farting machine."
Well, that doesn't sound nice but it was so humourous when he described how he was like when he got dysentery. hahas.
Geog was amazing. I took a full page of notes, so colourful, so wordy. X)
ENGLISH! well, today's personal choice presentations won't exactly that interesting but I concludes that Geraldine's voice is perfect for presentations. :D yay, gerry!
Anyway, during the last last English lesson, after Shao Xiong presented, Ms Kong kept repeating that he had done his personal response really well. Then......
Shao Xiong, "Okay, I know it's good, you don't have to keep repeating it, please continue with the others!!!!"
OHMYGOD. THAT WAS.....u know what I mean. The whole class was like "OHGOD, EGO!"
hahahahas.
Anyway, back to today, I went for this watch movie called "Einstein's Big Ideas" screened in the physics dry lab by the physics interest group in our school. :)
I went to watch it basically because I liked Physics and another reason was that, ever since I took a nerd test yesterday and asked me what is E=MC^2, I had been seeing it everywhere, like my table, my school, EVERYWHERE!
Then today, better still, they are teaching us about it with this movie, so I decided to find out what E=MC^2 is, you know, the world famous equation by Albert Einstein.
So, basically, E = MC^2 means Energy = mass x celeritas^2, when celeritas means the speed of light (670 616 629 miles / hour) yup. :)
So, Faraday was trying to prove things about electromagnetism and that there is energy going around the wires and magnets. Also, that light actually also have electromagnetism in it. So, in the end, someone proved him right with this mathematical calculation involving celeritas.
Then, there's this guy (I'm not sure of the name), proved that no mass can be created or destroyed with this experiment. So the outcome was, the product's weight was actually equal to the amount of water lost + the weight of the gas produced. And that proves him right. yup. i think so.
I think there's this lady proving Newton wrong on some equations that he had discovered.
Einstein was interested in light so I think he had found out alot about the celeritas part? Sorry I wasn't able to understand the E=MC^2 fully, my standard is not there yet. sad.
So everyone clapped in the dry lab upon watching Einstein writing down the famous E=MC^2 ! yay! :D
Then there was this lady called Liza or Lisa who used Einstein's famous equation to make a great discovery in chem and phyz. It was about inserting a neutron to this element to make a bigger element but it ended up having the element's nucleus split into two, creating a much smaller element by trying to add Uranium, Vanadium and other element to it. Although I couldn't understand it well but was just amazed by how much this equation can do! :D
Then they mentioned that even the Big Bang that occurred in the universe is largely in relation with E=MC^2!!!
Maybe I should try to understand what E=MC^2 is about better. hahas. I'm like so unclear about it. hahaha.
Anw, after this movie, I conclude that Physics and Chemistry really rock((:
