Alright, I took a look at my blog interface and I decided that it's too pink for what I'm feeling now. I'm going to change the blog skin in a few days to come, hopefully, or migrate elsewhere.

Why are so many people abandoning their blogspots for wordpress? Could someone tell me why is wordpress so good? I'm guessing wordpress looks more mature, organized and yes, it's more like a place for proper blogging. Reason why I am not giving this blog up is because this is a place where all my memories are kept, from 2006 up till now. I kind of regret deleting away the blog I created back in 2005, sigh.

Blogs aside, I've been in for a luck streak recently, almost everything goes my way and except for not getting into the MOE round of OSAP, maybe. But I thought getting into the school interview was lucky enough, for another exposure to interviews - something that I am terrible at. I've learnt so much from the two consecutive interviews that I went to in the past week and reflecting upon them, I'm gonna get better (:

Well, this post is a serious one after such a long time. I've changed so much, so did my life. It's funny when I recall how Kenneth let his blog die in Year 3 and revived his blog in Year 5 when life gets better. I couldn't understand why he did that but now I totally do. I didn't intentionally lock up my blog for 2 years but did something equivalent, haha.

Now in Year 5, got into a new class with new classmates and made a couple of new good friends in a short period of time. In the beginning months of Year 5, I was offered opportunities that I never thought I would get. My subject combinations gave me a platform to express myself better, and lead my own life. Now, I've again found passion in learning. I need to read, and read more.

I am still in the process of re-organizing my life, there are new things to shift to the top of the priority list and things to let go. In my past 2 years in NUS High, I've truly learnt what it means to 'prioritize', and 'give up when need to'.

This post is still highly unorganized, but I'll try to write my posts in a more meaningful way in the future, partially to improve my written English.

To end off, 2 main goals of 2011:

1. Achieve my best in school

2. Read!

AYLC was over, and it's awesome. Thanks to Raimie and Rachel for being our facils, and the rest of the group mates :D

It's not the best time now to write a post on AYLC, because it's just gonna take super long.

I'm disappointed, at someone who can't understand the needs of other people.

Sometimes I really really disliked school, because of all the things that we have to do. AYLC ignited my passion for leadership and council again, and it takes self-motivation to get myself going for the next 2 years, or maybe, just the next year, since we're stepping down in Year 6.

I seriously think that maybe the school could lessen on the amount of things we need to learn, and learn them with quality, instead of chionging through the syllabus prepared. =/

Maybe this period (next week), when all my 6 tests (or more) and TYA and Teachers Day Rehearsals and SMP datelines all clash together, it's an ultimate challenge to how much I can contribute to council. Am I to keep away all the council work and study for my own benefit? Or am I to hang on there for everything, with the possibility that I might fail all my tests in the end? Hahah.

I guess, sometimes when we all say that school work is the most important of all, and we should concentrate on our work when we can't juggle and leave the leadership alone for awhile. It's not always the case when it comes to the actual situation.

It's MY responsibility, and it's ME that chose to be in council. So I should have expected this.

3. Staff Appreciation Day (21 days more to the end of it)

4. CO Concert

5. TYA Games Day

6. Maintain my CAP, despite the lots of math and english MCs.

As long as I get these 6 things done properly this semester, I'm happy with my life.

On Saturday, in Japanese Class, the guy sitting next to me asked 先生 what's かたつむり (our class name). The teacher showed us a picture, cos she didn't know what is the name of that animal. Apparently, it was a snail. So the whole thing goes like this:

teacher: かたつむり〔蝸牛）は虫です。(shows us a picture of snail).

snail is an insect.

me: これ虫じゃありませｈ！

snail is not an insect!

and the argument goes on.....(im lazy to type the entire convo out in jap =.=)

LOL. okay maybe not that funny but in class, it was funny. LOL.

Diary

That little diary of mine, is not serving its function. Or should I say I'm not making use of it. Whenever I write down something to do for the day, I won't complete it on the day itself. So, what's the use of writing down if I don't bother to finish it at all?

I need to follow my schedule tighter. A LOT tighter.

Tests are coming up soon, in 2 weeks time, many of which clashes with AYLC, ah well. It's time to stay at home during weekends to mug, instead of going out for CIP or random shopping or what not.

And, damn PPV. I can't do a single question on Tutorial 1B, I didn't understand that lesson that the tutorial was on. Argh. Going to get Su Hang for free math tuition tomorrow.

I want a new phone. :(

I wanted the Samsung S3653W they used in the show, He's Beautiful, checked up on it, and found that it was a low end touch screen phone =/ The only thing that attracted me was the WiFi and the design, so was thinking if I should get it. The camera is also 2 Megapixels too.

I kind of regretted getting LG Ice Cream for the design, cos of its really basic functions. =/

Suchang did nothing for the weekend in terms of acads, and she feels damn guilty.

Went for the leadership training on Saturday in school, I like the training, the people were funny and it was pretty useful, especially the legacy one. There's this part of the notes prepared by school that says:

You're leaving the school in 2 years' time. In the last 3 years, you have experienced the joys, the exhilaration, the challenges as a student leader as you worked with others, learnt to be a role model and you see the fruition of several great plans and events for the school. You now know what it takes to be an effective student leader, and you want to live a life worthy of emulation by others and eventually to leave behind a legacy for your juniors to follow, to take the school to even greater heights. What do you want to leave behind? And how are you going to do it?

I marked out that part, similar things had been going through my mind for the past half a year since I entered Year 4. When I saw the word "legacy", I recalled Roy telling me about leaving a legacy behind for the first time 2 years back when I was applying for council in Year 2. I wrote that "I want to join council because I hope to leave behind a legacy when I leave the school" , not knowing what it meant exactly or how to do it. The training about leaving behind a legacy came just in time.

Every part the coach talked about, I kind of reflected back on what I have done in be it, CO, Music Ambassador, cheMagic, CIG or the Council. I started out as one that knew nothing in CO as their president. I have to say that I really learnt my stuff about leadership the hard way, and I'm still not there, talking about personhood and what not. Well i guess NUS High is a learning journey for me in leadership, building from zero to what I have now. I may not be a good leader compared to many others in council but I satisfied with what I have now and is still working to improve. This year, I'm putting all my efforts into mainly the council, and I hope that I'm on a new level in Year 5. Hahah.

Anyway, anyone from Tday Comm, if you're reading this, pardon me for my bads in the planning progress. =P

On a random note, I realised that only when people do not have a strong self confidence that they can truly see the pluses of other people in the area, and learn.

Ah, and there was also some tea party for the alumni in school, quite happy to see Reico, Roy and Eugene again though didn't talk much because of the training, haha. Oh yeah I saw Bryan too (:

Anyway, later on went to Vivo with Yizhuo and co to buy Jiaqin a dress for present but in the end we didn't decide on one. I got a new headphone though :DD I'm so happy (: Not some super awesome sound quality but I went just for it for the design, haha..

Was dead tired after reaching home from Vivo at 10pm, aching all over and caught a cold on the bus. Slept until 10+ today and rushed to Bird Park for duty. I spoke English, Chinese and Jap today, lol x) Went 313 for lunch with parents after that, came back and slept until 6pm T.T Then did teachers day...

so yeah, no sign of acads anywhere for the 2 days, shall go edit my advocacy speech now. =P

Oh, I realised there's a need for me to bring my laptop to school everyday. I need regular dosage of FT.ISLAND videos LOL.

Sometimes I hated going to school, I felt that as long as I can stay home, that's the biggest joy I will ever have. But now I kind of felt that school is actually okay, in some sense. Well maybe because this sem's topics are pretty fun. hahaha. I'm nerd, nevermind =.=

I finally found a subject I like other than modern physics. I like E&M, it's cool, it's abstract and its WAY nicer than mechanics, which we've been suffering (at least for me) with for a year, if not more.

Went for SSEF briefing today, saw esther(:

I can't wait for Dec Hols.

Dr Ling is a really good vet, or I shall say, Namly Vet Clinic is a very good clinic! I recommend everyone with pets to go there. Dr Ling is detailed, careful and remembers everything about Cookie's previous visit, or at least, she bothers to take it down and read through before our next visit, even if our scheduled the visit last minute. I aspire to be like her, if not better. :D

I was talking to Yizhuo today and discussing what we wanna do in uni. We talked about Japan universities, Waseda. I told my mum about it later, I didn't expect her to be so supportive :) I love my mum. haha!

Anyhow, back to work :(

Oh god. Today was damn suay.

Was supposed to meet Yizhuo at Labrador Park to go sampling at the Nature Reserve shore for SMP. In the end it was closed for public and only accessible to people who had applied for permission to enter for research. =.= And we didn't know, so we didn't apply D: have to go ask Prof Lim to apply with Nparks for us.

So we decided that we can go Palau Hantu (where I went for a guided walk before at low tide) tomorrow, to save time on the application. We went to Marina South Pier, in the end they said Palau Hantu is only accessible by chartered boats T.T!

But there's regular boats for St. John Island and Kusu Island. We didn't know if there's shores for research there so we didn't buy the tickets. Only until now that we googled these places that we realised we can go there too =.=

Shall go there early tomorrow and get ourselves tickets.

Argh.

School Reopening!

School is starting in less than 48 hours' time! New semester, new challenge.

And yeah, definitely challenge, 6MCs of English and 6MCs of Math.

High expectations of self for I know that it's good for me, stop slacking and gear up!

Main goals/pointers of the next semester:

1. Teachers' Day Preparation! GO Tday COMM!

2. Touch Young Arrows Games Day! I love TYA(:

3. SMP

4. Wind Energy

5. Improve my English and make sure it doesn't die.

6. Maintain Math Grade, it is ABSOLUTELY IMPT for hons.

7. Improve Chemistry for goodness sake. It sucks now D:

8. Aim for an A+ for Bio.

9. Thus making sure my CAP does not die from the 12MCs of killer modules (for me at least).

10. Stop acting like an anti-social (at least I think I did =.=)

11. LOOK FORWARD TO DECEMBER HOLS AS A MOTIVATOR.

Minor pointers:

1. Maintain B+ to A- for Physics, of course A will be a bonus.

2. NEP (which ends 15 July)

3. CA Duties

4. Work on Attachment Applications.

5. Steady Improvement on Japanese =)

Wooo, tidied and cleaned my room entirely today! It feels clean, and it smells nice. =) I feel totally weird with a desktop and two laptops in my room >.<

Anyhow! Now that everything's in place, I'm ready and prepared for the new coming semester! It's just 5 days to school reopen, and here's the things I need to do:

1. MY NEP!!!!

2. Chinese homework =.= argh.

3. Revise chem.

I guess that's about it, those that are urgent at least.

Teeth Extraction

Went for teeth extraction last Friday, extracted 4 teeth.

The dentist extracted 2 of my teeth on the right first. Before that, he gave me 2 anesthesia jabs for each gum, 4 in total for 2 teeth. So I actually in all had 8 jabs on my gums that day. It was like super ultra pain T.T It was not the teeth extraction that was scary and pain, it was the jabs :(

After the extraction for teeth, my mouth my full of blood and it was bleeding non stop. I had excessive bleeding for 1 of the extraction site, it lasted all the way until the night.

Meh, the worst part is i was having fever on the day of extraction, and still is.

Had been taking liquidfied food for the past 3 days, surviving on soya bean, milo, soup, mee siam that's cut very short so I can swallow straight away, and porridge. It's gonna stay like that for the next half a week. ahhh.

Half the holiday has passed and I think most of the time was spent on SMP. Arh, there goes my holiday! But I feel accomplished =)

For the rest of the holiday, I shall do some self - study of Bio and Trigo (for that Math Honors module next sem =.=) BUT i'm not nerd ya. I wanna go Universal Studios but the tickets are so ex! And I can't find people to go with me too. My parents probably don't want to go. Hai. Esther (Zhu) 's coming to stay over on 19th and 20th, hehs.

Went Bird Park for duty today, met He Ning, went to Jurong Point, met Liyan =) Then I came back. haha. I feel soooo sleepy I don't wanna do anything =.=

REVIVED!

I've decided to revive my blog on impulse, after being dead for almost 3 months.

Well this is to update my progress and rant here, because this year, Year 4, is a horribly insane year. Like, REALLY. People are telling me to drop somethings, I did drop. I'm no longer the CO Pres and I've chosen to leave MA.

Well, this year, it's the academics that's pretty killing. Though I'm prepared to kill myself during my years in NUS High, for that the effort pays off when you see that improvements are made in the area you contributed to, in terms of leadership. And in terms of acads, it all pays off when you get into the University, doing what you want to do in the future.

At hand, I have 2 IRs, one internal and one for SMP, Chem O and Econs (elective), Council. In fact, CIG and cheMagic as well.

Though it's just Year 4, I'm still thinking if I should do Vet next time, or just pure Biology, studying animals. I can help animals with just Biology as well...I guess. I wonder if I really have the patience that a Vet requires, and whether if I even qualify in the first place. Gah.

Anyway, back to reality. I need to do work now =.=

Year 4 is gonna make me have no life man.

Okay I haven't been posting here like since ever. But I'm back! haha...like anyone still reads this dead blog =P

Well, I'm kind of half moved to chinese Sina blog. yeah. But I'll still post here when I feel like updating in English, like now.

I'm moving into hostel next year! That's like a really REALLY big thing for me because I'm like so dependent on my parents! I'm gonna stay with Jiu Rui, a china scholar. I'm pretty worried too, like about how I will be able to manage it. =/
Exams are over!! Like, woohoo! But my last paper was screwed, horribly screwed. I left almost half the paper blank. It's trigo =.=
I'm going back to China! YAYYY! On the 21st Nov =) But I will be back like very very soon. Maybe early december and I will be able to join council camp as well as 207 chalet before I fly off to Taiwan/Korea again. Exciting.
Post exams are busy. Busier than pre exams =.= I have like so many things to do! Catalyzer workshop, chemagic demos at science center, IR Presentation at clean and green carnival, CO stuff, OUTINGS AND MEETUPS WOOHOO! =D
Council internal selection result is released on 20th Nov and I'm nervous ><
ASTRO BOY IS NICE! It's super touching and I love it.
Michael Jackson's movie on Sunday, Flag day and Vienna Boys' Concert tomorrow.

Recently had beeen pretty busy for no exact reason.

Well, maybe just things here and there. Biology exam next week and I haven't really studied. I'm not feeling very anxious either. Weird.

Friday night my family dined with Tianran's family at Spring Court. Yesterday did work for the entire day, did most of the Math Journal and completed what I need to do for now for IR. That's all =/ Watched the 中秋节晚会 on CCTV 4. Nice. Hahaha.

Today morning practiced piano and went for piano lesson. Had lunch with Tianran's family again at Pariss before they fly off tonight. I came home and slept for 1.5 hour =.=

What a waste of time.

Woke up and now I started doing work! Ahh.

Okay, so i'm sick again ><

Well not surprising after sleeping at 12+ everyday and waking up at 4.30am to study for the past week when I had to study for Math and Geog test and also prepare for CO Concert.

But nontheless, CO Concert was a great success! :D

So much compliments from everybody about the concert, haha. And also many many people to thank (:

Today slept until 9am and then woke up to practice piano and did some homework, not very efficient since I'm having the random diziness and all that =/

MUST JIAYOU! 1 MORE MONTH TO EXAMS! And just 1month and a few more days to flying off! :D

Gonna fly back to China on the same plane with Jiaqin, Zhou Shao and Jiahuan! Yay! Since I'm getting off first at Fuzhou then they will continue for another 2 hours+ to Hangzhou.

Will be visiting Tianran, Anzhi, Xuehe they all in Tianjin as well! Then might go to Beijing together!

YAYY! So much to look forward to during the holidays.

But as of now, I have the following to worry about:

1. CHEM QUIZ (wed)
2. INTERVIEW!!!! crap. (wed)
3. EXAMS! EXAMS! EXAMS!
4. Clean and Green Carnival.

Then I went backstage and started typing the script in my phone and so I read from my phone. Haha! At least I make it through =.=

I'm in NUS Library currently, though finished my read up for IR but still coming here to do work.

3 main things that I haven't done:

Chinese Essay - today start, edit tomorrow, refine sunday.

Oh and I need to repack all my files. They are messy like crap. ><

昨天我收到的一条短信是这么写的：

人和人是完全不一样的生物，你应该很清楚的。

我觉得这条短信对我感触很大。不管是对家里，对朋友，都是一样的。

不过我想在了解别人和要别人改变上加上包容，或许不要人家为你而改变，让你自己学会有颗包容、宽容别人的心。

这是一种高尚的品德。但也很难完全拥有。

这是锻炼自己的方法。

环境不能适应你，你一定要适应它！

就像我对雪禾说的，只要真诚的对人，做真实的自己。现在加上包容别人。而只有能接受真是的你的人才是永久的朋友。真心朋友是双方面的，不能只让一方来承担维持友情的任务。如果你发现你不用心了，那你就不能成为那个人的真心朋友。而如果你觉得你的努力是单方面的，那就放弃吧，他不会是你的真心朋友。

今天我 [终于] 再一次感受到了

I felt accomplished today!

Reached NUS Library at 10am and started with some IR research. Well, more of self studying Weibull Function.

Anyway, started to mug geography and managed to finish 2 lectures today, which is quite a lot if you wanna try to fully understand and remember it. Did half of lec 3 but couldn't finish cos I don't really understood so might as well not continue. Gonna meet Mrs Yeo tomorrow and ask her.

Did question 1 for geog assignment and left question 2 for tomorrow cos it's under lecture 3. =P

What else did I do..

OH. I did my english homework with a really really REALLY big dictionary today. HAHA.

Revised some chemistry too. Basically because I did badly for a quiz =/

Anyway comment of the day: Reference collection 'room' is eerie silence =.=
(Though Science Library is far worse...)

I saw Mrs Chui today.

Left the library at 9.30pm. Yeah that's like almost 12 hours in NUS.

今天晚上在回家的路上跟妈妈聊天，心里总结很久的一些东西想了遍。

想想最近发生的事，我觉得我太容易被人与人之间发生的小小的不愉快影响。

因为我是 I？就像给 I 写的，我害怕被孤立。我怕被人家拒绝。我希望，我喜欢大家都很好都很开心的天天在一起。

Anyways. Today was plain tedious! ><

First I reached queenstown at 9am for Piano lesson, then I went NUS to do some read up for IR. Then I went to school for CO, skipping lunch, until 5pm.

I stayed on about 30mins to 1 hr more to do the sectional practice for Canon In D, and then practiced the song with the Chenwei and Xuehe for the China Student performance o.o

Sooooo tired now, but nvm I shall go and study some geography.

I slept until 12noon today because the TYA high tea was cancelled, thinking I will be hardworking to do what I wrote in the afternoon.

In the end, I ended up being bored and playing neopets =.=

Then I slept from 4pm to 6pm o.o

Woke up to eat dinner. =.=

Practice piano for 2 hours then watched TV for an hour and continued for another hour plus. Finished up my music homework and then did a little bit of Geography.

Argh =.=

Tomorrow's got two days of stuff to do.

I'm like chionging everything now so that I don't have to chiong during school days. ><

Anyway, time to sleep. Watched TV from 12midnight. I swear that Channel 55 is damn nice =D

Went jurong bird park today for the Science Comm lesson! =D

Quite fun to see the birds! And they are so cute and pretty! xD But there's alot of things to mug. ><

Ohoh, there's this Caucasian guy in our class who is SO PRETTY AND HOT. hahahah xD

Anyway, yesterday I wanted to relax so badly that I went for 2 movies in a row at GV Tampines. The first one is Up at 7.20pm which ends at 9pm sharp and then i immediately hopped over to Cinema 5 for the next movie - G-Force.

Both of them are uber touching and really really nice. I think G Force is nicer than Up.

Not only that the guinea pigs are so cute in G Force but I love their team spirit and all that! =)

But there's a hiccup in between.

When I went to Cinema 5, I at first accidentally went into Cinema 6. It was showing Dance Flick which is NC 16 and there were scenes that are so SUPER crude and sick in the wrong way. I mean if it's like those romance NC 16 still acceptable but those super crude stuff I was like "ohmygod that's so...."

Anyway, I looked at the time and realised it was like 9.30 already. The adverts shouldn't be this long. THEN i realised I ran into the wrong cinema and went to watch G Force.

So, i missed 15 to 20 mins of G Force. T.T

Anyway, having a bad sore throat now and shall go shower and rest! =)

Argh I don't like quizzes and tests. Esp for physics. Shoooo.

Gonna have a physics test tomorrow and I haven't really studied. Need to do last min mugging.

This holiday's gonna be busy and quite tiring. With all the practices and stuff. But I'm still gonna make time for Kbox with Meifang they all. I CANT WAIT MAN. =D

I needa catch up with some work already. Lagging behind a bit on all the subjects, cos I haven't really looked at some notes the 2nd time, esp physics. This will be done during holidays.

Tmr is my last test for the term. I just hope I survive through it with something like a 70%.

The term 4 Suchang is gonna be different!

For some reason I really hope I'm 304. Though everyone there is like so pro, but at least that kind of environment motivates me to study harder and push for something better, not being satisfied with what I already achieved.

I really wanna slow down abit in life and just enjoy the bits of happenings here and there without worrying for anything else. Well I guess that'll be after exams. Hais. Actually, I even doubt so.

Random: Geog teachers are nice!

I'm so planning to major in Geography and just let go off Physics in Year 5. That will mean no physics major for me.

Physics is so super demoralizing. No matter how much I practice, I just can't improve it. I have no idea why and I got a 66% today for the quiz when I could have gotten at least a 80% all thanks to the careless mistakes. Everytime it's either super hard or I just keep making careless mistakes.

Ergh. Results are getting so, disgusting.

Chem and Bio are not in a very good situation too, especially chem. This sem, I finally know how it feels to blank out during a quiz. I've always known how esters are, but I just can't remember during the quiz. Damn ><

Anyway, Gregory came back to school today, after sooo looong of trying meet up, we finally got to meet up today! He reached school at 6pm and after some chatting and photo taking, we went to Sumo House to have dinner! (:

We had fun talking to him and chatting about the good old CO days in Year 1 and 2. hahaha. And telling him about the new things in school x) Greg is just still as weird and funny as ever.

Mrawr. Greg, as all of us know, is super pro! He's gonna go to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) on Saturday. I'm going to send him off! :D

Zhaoye is flying of the same day in the morning to Harvard University. Woah. Hahaha.

I can't believe I just cried in class last Thursday when I received the sms from my mum saying that I need to fly off the next day cos my great grandma is not gonna make it through the next few days.

For some reason fever just had to hit me on that same day same time. Before my mum could fetch me from school, my temperature had already went up to 38.4. We had to cancel the flight so I didnt get to fly back in the end.

I've never hated a pandemic so much before. I just hate H1N1 and the fact that Singapore is following America to bring down the measures and now virus is spreading among the students like nobody's business. If the virus weren't spreading like that, I could have went back, I could have seen her for the last time.

She's not just another relative to me. She's someone I've grown up with besides my parents and my grandparents. I love her.

Since Thursday, every phone call from my dad never fails to make me worry about what he's gonna say before I answer the call. I thought I was prepared for the worst. On Sat morning past 6am, when he called to say that she's not gonna make it, I didn't say anything. I was surprised I had no response. I was simply shocked.

7.53am, that was the time she left all of us.

I didn't cry. I held back until Tuesday when I couldn't take it anymore and I let it all out.

大奶奶，我会永远永远的记得你。我忘不了小时候你陪我在阳台上玩，陪我去逛夜市，陪我睡觉。还有我陪你打麻将，陪你看京剧。到你年老谁都记不起来的时候，你居然还认得我，还叫得出我的名字。可是我却没有陪你走完最后的几天，也没有见到你最后一面。

一天一天的过去发现我越来越想回去，国内的人能和你成为很铁的朋友，在这里大家基本上都自己顾自己的。发现最近连我也很自私，不想多讲话，也不想聊天。因为没有一个人是能真正体谅，了解你的。每个人都是独立的一个个体，没有人能融入你，也很容易就把全世界都屏蔽掉，一个人。

变得很敷衍，很内向。

不能回国的话，想至少离开这个地方。期待着毕业那天的到来，去美国。
把不喜欢的人、事、物统统抛下，重新开始。

家里，学校。

也许你会说这叫逃避，我只想喘口气，安安心心的喘口气。
压力带大会使人窒息，甚至不知道自己在干嘛，所有的毛病全都出来了。

家，对我来说意义重大，我不像其他小孩一样想脱离父母亲人，也不愿意看到这一切的一切。想，哪天，散了，怎么办？不，这不会发生的！

我好羡慕家庭简单的人，好羡慕除了作业就没什么烦恼的人，好羡慕自由自在的人，好羡慕乐天派。原来自己也是这样的，可是最近变得很沮丧也很悲观，看什么什么不顺眼，感觉好像全世界的人都很邪恶，每个人都可能对你反感，都可能把你设为打击的对象，而处处都可能有不好的事情发生。

我想远离这一切，建立一个新的社交圈，做回简简单单的自己。

Just read a post on a good math student. It got me started thinking if, a good math student will always have or had a good math teacher in his/her academics life.

Are people who are extremely good in some areas really born talented or are they inspired or influenced by others/certain experiences? Just like in this case of a good math student, she had a good math teacher for once and that was what influenced her and developed an interest for math and thus being talented for it if she worked hard enough, which i believe, she did. :) Of course, I might be wrong about this "define talent" post but this is just a thought.

I'm guessing that for every talent, there will always be someone or something at some point in time consciously or subconsciously, inspired the person. And behind every talent, hard work is done. Maybe it is just a matter of when, for those who were early, they were said to be talented because that's how people see them grow up. But those who only realizes when they are older, they have to work hard to reach what it takes to be "labeled" talented.

Its a pity that I didn't have such a person or an experience to inspire me in a specific area of study earlier in life but nevertheless, I do have now. There were also teachers/friends/seniors who had made a change in my life in the past or I wouldn't be in Singapore, I wouldn't have went to St.Margaret's, I wouldn't be in NUS High and I will definitely not be doing what I am doing now.

I will just work hard to do what I can, everybody leads a different life and I will just try to make the best out of mine. =)

So its the first day of school. Well, it's alright? hahaa. (:

Its kind of nice to get back to school (excluding the fact that there's a lot of things to do this sem =.= ) Although there's alot of things to study this sem, I'm actually looking forward to some of them. Like Chinese Culture when we will be learning the China History which wanted to learn soooo loooong ago =D Piano Lessons! Yes it's tiring to practice everyday despite the timetable when you are so tired that your fingers have totally no strength but still (: Squeeze some strength out then. AND CELLO(: well not confirmed but most probably! Maybe sports nutrition too...and some other stuff. haha.

This way 144 days will pass pretty fast I guess?

A part of today wasn't happy. I missed home. I wanna go back to China. It's ironic that I'm blogging about this in English but since I've started my post in this blog today, might as well. Almost cried but well managed not to. (:

Timetable had been out for quite long already and staring at it, I'm still thinking if I should even take up any electives at all other than Chinese Culture since it just takes up half of a two hour break which I will most probably be wasting away.

The other electives, are all two hours per lesson, four hours a week. This might been a four MC and it also means lots of things to learn and study. If that is the case, I'm considering to drop those.

I've finally found myself a good piano teacher and a place to learn Cello. I want to be not just good in acads but also something else, to have a talent somewhere else. Again, looking at the super cram timetable that we're given, I doubt I will have the time to manage electives and instruments at the same time. These instruments are just like an extra music module to me. It takes time to learn, understand, practice and perfect. Together with my non-acads stuff like council, MA and CCA (which I'm alr kinda struggling in sem 1), I really doubt that I can cope the electives.

While Gregory says now I shouldn't be at a point where CAP is the most important thing at the end of a semester. Yes I agree. My CAP is kinda stable already, fluctuating around that line. But, I still need to put in the effort to maintain it. With the timetable (if I take elecs), I will be reaching home at earliest 5pm everyday and that sucks. Again, not only there's no time for practice, lessons, I doubt there's even time to study what I need to study. And in the end, I will end up studying only again.

Well I have to admit that I'm not talented in Sciences and Math, at least not as talented in them as people like Su Hang. I don't have to mug THAT hard but I still need to mug more than those very talented ones.

Another thing is that, if I take elecs, it will defeat the my will to learn instruments and read up on things on my own because I simply don't have time. The stress of the eleces' grades will also affect me. In the end I will have a life with school, and school only. That's not what I want. I want to have a life, to do things I want to do and I believe acads is not everything.

Well, if I'm not born to be a person like some super pro professor or researcher, then I will just do my part as a doctor/medical researcher/teacher/vet/animal specialist/etc (hahaha), something that I enjoy. All I want from my job is steady income that allows me to have a good life and happiness, not fame.

Hmm. I'll decide after the first week of lessons. There's still add/drop period.

话说我都已经回来两天了还是什么都还么开始做

天天懒懒散散的太颓废了

今天

五月二十六日, 星期二, 下午 1 点 49 分 (大概时间)

在 Tampines Ave 5 高速公路出口处

出车祸.

两辆车飙车, 一辆撞上我们的车

我们的车在高速上打转, 冲撞上路边的铁栏杆, 又 180 度转出来

车内冒着灰烟, 一股烧焦的味道....

下车后迷迷糊糊的, 看见了一台完全报废掉的车, 我们家的车

据说那辆撞上我们的车又连续撞了另外三台车, 其中一辆罗里车上的外劳飞出车外重伤...

四辆救护车来...

我们轻伤的上了最后一辆...

我在车子打转的时候被摔到前座去了, 右边的身子现在痛得要命...

一下救护就上了轮椅, 护士跑过来把我们送去急诊...

还好貌似不严重

爸爸手上轻微刮伤

明天还要去警察局做口供.

今天...真是....

唉.

Okay yes I got into car accident and the car went spinning and smash into the road divider on the highway. It spun out again and smoke filled the car, smelling burnt. >< Good thing the car didn't explode or something o.o

Some idiot was car racing with another car on the high way on a RAINY DAY and after it hit my car, it went zig zag across the highway hitting another 3 more cars i think. And THAT drivier weren't injured AT ALL. ><

2 people from the back of a lorry flew out, others also seriously injured. ><

My car was totally entirely extremely damaged that it doesn't even look like a car anymore T.T

I was thrown onto the back of the front seat and now my whole body is aching...

Sat at the side of the highway and got attended by paramedics while waiting for the FOURTH (yes FOURTH, that many were injured) ambulance to fetch us people who were only slightly injured. The paramedics got me onto a wheelchair and was attended by nurses at the emergency unit o.o

Blood pressure, heart beat rate, pulse rate, whatever were taken with like alot of medical equipments around me ><

Saw a doctor at last and I have to be observed at home for 24 hours for any signs of vomitting, fever...etc. Nothing too serious I think. Still can walk (not properly)...

I'm....amazed by the Singapore emergency unit paramedics like seriously. They are nice. =) VERY NICE (:

The ambulance, appeared the MOMENT, i stepped out of the car after it came to a stop. Can you imagine how fast is THAT?! o.o I mean, did they predict the accident or something =P They are AMAZING. =D hahah. (:

星期五就要飞了! 下午三点的飞机, 晚上出8 点到福州, 大概九点多会到家!

太开心了! :D

我真是迫不及待啊!!

已经被困在这里困怕了, 在不回去我回疯掉, 说实话, 比起日本, 我更想回去.

不过这次有点不一样哦, 还有去上海, 杭州, 广州, 义乌.

上海杭州是要去玩啦, 找同学玩. 真的很期待噢~!

虽然说叫我不要买礼物, 我还是买了! 一共八份, 不送不好意思....

后两者是要和妈妈去看下做小商品生意的货物.

数学和语文真是该死, 考得差的要命, 比自己预计的分数少了很多很多!

根本不应该得这种鬼分数的...

算了, 物理和生物其实自我感觉还可以, 不过和其他的同学比起来就差了一点.

英语的分数真是, 奇迹啊~!

明天要去VIVOCITY 帮舅舅买个手机的耳机带回去....

还要拿到化学和地理的成绩, CAP 能不能上 4.4 现在就靠你们了!!

Oh WELL. well.

BOTH by UK and Japan trips are canceled one after another because of the stupid H1N1 disease. T.T

Was watching news today and it says that the Osaka area in Japan has a total of 130 confirmed cases of H1N1, huge increase from the 3 cases 2 days ago. The spread is, amazingly fast. Mass populations have been infected in schools.

After chem exam on Friday, I went with my parents to apply visa for Japan but only to realise that we need some sort of letter from school. Then we went to eat lunch at Takashimaya and met Tianran at Starbucks Tampines after that to do MA stuff. (:

Oh I bought some touring books about Japan, a book on GENETICS, and two documentaries at Kinokuniya =P I somehow is interested in genetics o.o

At night watched ANGELS AND DEMONS with my parents! =D

Okay, had been doing intensive mugging at starbucks near my house for the past week and I'm drained of energy. =.=

You know, if you really mug, it's like, the more you mug and better you get BUT the more you feel like u've got more things to mug and you never know when you can actually mug finish becaues there just seems to have SO MANY things to mug.

前天晚上我完完全全的抽掉了，一开始是因为被人家误解，后来越想越糟，把所有的事一下子都聚在一起，都快奔溃了。断断续续的竟然哭了两个小时。。。

在线上把同学都吓坏了，对不起让大家担心了。
现在我自己想想都觉得自己很荒谬。

要谢谢雨婷、少少、然然、陈唯、岸至。

There's really, nothing to blog about recently :(
Everyday is the same, school activities, school work, and stuff stuff stuff. meh.

The last time I blogged properly was around Common Test Week.

Now I'm blogging about weeks before Exams =.=

Anyway,

Went out to JE Library to mug with Tianran, Zhou Shao (Billy) and Ting today.

Met Shao and Tianran at Clementi MRT at 10.30am to go JE, met Ting there at 11am.

I went to eat lunch first with Tianran then Shao went to eat lunch with Ting. Apparently the two of us gets hungry much more easily =.= meh.

Yoyoyo, long time no update.

Went out today for lunch and movie and shopping with the china scholars for Yi Zhuo's Birthday!

At 9.30 少 smsed me to wake me up =.= eesh. I could have slept longer.

Anyway.

Met them at 12 at City Hall and we went Marina Square for movie~ =)
Had lunch at Pizza Hut before that with Shao, Xuehe, Caiyu, Anzhi and Jiaqin, the rest had their lunch at Subway.

It's kinda scary and the ending is abit no comments but well...it's still nice! (:

Year 3 is really, no joke ><

Things are getting from bad to worst.

THAT thing, I don't wanna talk about it anymore...neither am I planning to interfere anymore..
But it just keep coming to me, affecting my mood.

CCA things, not as pleasant as well, at least not with the kind of mental status I'm having now.

Studies, well, it looks like I'm still able to keep my results there. And it's only the results.

I'm totally not in the mood for doing homework, not in the mood for revising, not in the mood to keep my things neat, even feels lazy to do council things, MA things...

I know what's wrong with me but I just can't help it. I need a break. Just a nice 3 days break without having to worry about school work and that will help me to recharge.

It just seems that there's no stop to homework, everyday, it just seem to keep piling up even if I had always been doing. The amount just never seem to decrease. Ergh.

Reflect, Rethink, Recharge.
I don't even get the time to, especially to recharge. I seem to get tired of everything. Eeshhhh.

The most crazy part of the camp was not actually the camp itself, it's the supper outside the hostel with the china scholars! Hahaha, nice meal~ (: Chen Wei cooked soup and Tianran cooked spaghetti. Hehs.

After the camp, my mum went to pick me up and we went Marine Parade for lunch followed by going Vivo to get a new phone..

Anw, the china scholars came to my house today for lunch and playing after that =)

Woke up at 5am today to go market with my Mum to buy the food for cooking >.< Rushed back and showered Cookie so he's not that smelly, tidied up my room (but now it's back to the messy state again), and went to MRT to fetch them. 13 of them came today...Yanan, Yizhuo, He Ning, Jiu Rui, Jiaqin, Yuting, Jiafan, Xuehe, Tianran, Anzhi, Zhou Shao, Cai Yu, Chen Wei! Yay (:

Played Wii, played com, played piano, played guitar, sang, practiced, drank tea....etc etc. Hahah =)

I MISS MY PRIMARY SCHOOL IN CHINA!

突然很想福州实小，刚才闲着无聊在google上随便查了查，实小现在还有校网了呢。。
学校变了很多很多，校长换了、教过我的老师多数也都不在了、校园里多了很多东西，设备十分齐全，我刚走的时候都还在建呢。。要珍惜啊~

其实我看了一下教师表，剩下我认识的也只有我在实小两年半的班主任 - 陈峰老师了。记得来新加坡之后的第一次回实小是在午休时间，只见到了一两个同学，而那是7年前的事了。第二次回实小就是前年冬天的时候，时间过得久了，去的路上还捉摸着老师会不会认得我，结果传达室里的叔叔说陈峰老师放产假。。。又没见到！

快两年没回福州了，这次回去一定要再去看看。。变了多少。。

Went for NUS Art Fest - The Art of Chemistry workshop today, as a facilitator.

Nope, no pay, not nascans.

I would have felt really guilty if it was paid. =/

I totally CMI-ed and Phailed today cos I felt really...emo and had really bad mood swings for reasons unknown. For one moment I was totally happy and gay, the next moment I just go all emo. Was having slight headache the whole time too =/

I just blanked out and kind of, don't know how to present Amalgam. Really, *swears*. And, I didnt know how to answer the simplest questions ever. Thinking back now, I could have answered them. =.=

But Royston was there, so at least I didn't die, and was saved.

After that, I went back to school and did Math. Finished it up and my parents reached school to fetch me home.

Went out with my Mum just now, to buy breakfast for tomorrow, presents that I owe and other stuff. She bought my early birthday present too!

In fact, it had been eventful since the start of Year 3. I'm not wrong to worry about the challenges I will have this year, last year. This year is happening, really, and full of emotions, both in good and bad ways...

Its after SLI and I'm in the "Total Relax" state when I'm not supposed to.

I slept at 11pm last night to reward myself after sleeping super late everyday for the SLI, and when I reached home at 4.30pm today. I totally did not know what to do so I went to sleep, again, when I have a chem quiz to mug for. =.=

It's the first time I'm coming home so early after like, so loooong. Hahaha.

Supposed to find hostel admin today, didn't get to do it >.<

It's the day where all members of council who are involved in SLI Prep, my subcomm members and my effort will pay off! =)

The door gifts are looking great, the token of appreciation is nice although both of them were not our original ideas and there were a lot of set backs along the way...=)

I have to say that, though working in council is sometimes stressful (like during the SLI period), it has high expectations of you, and sometimes you just don't have the time to attend to your academic work, its really the place where you can learn things that you don't from studying. It's a place where you grow and work with nice people. =) Yes, I feel that people in council (at least those that I work with this time), are really nice (: People like, Eliza, Fish, Don, Raghav, Tiong Suan, Kai Hui, Galen, Xavier, Bernard, Xinyi, Marianne and many more .... =D

Well...just finished packing my bag and realised how much stuff I have to lug to sch tmr...

Ridiculous

Something is really ridiculous.
I sleep much much later when there is no school the next day and I have the whole day to do my stuff. LOL.

All my "trainings" in Year 1 and 2 are "poof!" gone after the Year 2 December Hols. That means that I am no longer able to sleep at 2am and still be energetic the next day. The now me will definitely fall asleep in class. =.=

Now I have to sleep at 11pm or earlier in order to function propeerly for the next day. T.T

Have just finished the SL Intro thing at 1.30am just now and sent it to relevant people..Started doing at 5.30pm until 6.30 and my family went out to eat. Reached home at 11 cos of rather walking around Vivo, the jam on the highway and getting stuck in the carpark cos the IU is faulty. =(

I'm getting very busy nowadays, for this week, my whole Saturday is devoted to council work although yes I could have made use of my time better. Sunday (today) is going to be, HOMEWORK! Recently, I had been checking my email every other 30mins or so and gmail will always be one of my tabs on Firefox. Everytime I check it, there's sure to be an email.

Anyway, we had SLI Dance Practice from 8 - 10am in the morning (Sat) and council meeting at 1 - 3pm.

The dance practice was productive..we've got our transitions right and worked out our intro! =D I think it looks quite nice! =) After that, stoned in the canteen for 1 hour to "recharge" since my battery is flat after the dance practice and then started mugging bio. O.o

At 12noon went for lunch and ate with the scholars, again. Talked to a few people after lunch and went for meeting at 1pm.

The meeting was, quite nice. Dr Wong talked about leadership, about SLW and stuff. I think what she said is meaningful and I agree with her esp for the part about, don't do just for the sake of doing. Haha. No other meanings btw.

Crapped with Ros and Janice after the meeting until 3.45 when her parents came to pick her up. We talked about Roy quite a bit, had fun laughing at him! HAAHA. xD

After that went down to canteen again since Dad said he can only come at 4.30 to pick me up. Joined Janice and Andy for their debate prep about adultery, Wen Xiang joined after awhile. It's quite...fun. Hahaha.

Met Ranran at 4pm and went to Student Lounge...and dad came. =)

And yada yada. I doubt anyone read all these xD Hahaha. Suchang's life isn't that exciting. =P

V. Day was so fun! The moment bell rings after the mentoring sessions ended for all Year 3 Classes, EVERYONEE start giving v. day presents and then rushed out of their class to give presents to friends in other classes. You see people running around the corridors, shouting from downstairs/upstairs xD Kind of chaotic but really really hyper and fun! =DD

Many people were carrying bags of presents around xD The councilors were running around to deliver the roses/chocs/messages too! =)

14TH FEB VALENTINE'S DAY (IN SCHOOL AGAIN).

Went to school at 9am in the morning for dance practice for SLI, until 11.30 >.< Was extremely tired after that, but went for Math immediately.

Half way through went for lunch with the Anzhi, Jiafan, Xuehe, Caiyu, and Zhou Shao. Listening to their conversation is entertaining enough xD hahaha.

Then went for Math again. =.=

Mr Yee went for lunch after that. (LOL.)

Met Ranran and his friend after that while waiting for dad to fetch. In the end he didn't come so stayed there to do math and to slack until around 4.30pm >.<

Nanyang's Investiture was really good. It was super super synchro. Everyone stands at the same time, sit properly, neat movements. Very very nicely done =) Their school is also very cool. It is very well equipped with all sorts of things. They even have a broadcasting room where they do their recordings and everything. They literally can set up a CCA for those school radio kind of thing xD

The whole place was very pretty as well, with little gardens and swings everywhere. The building was those kind of nice red bricks. Super pretty. Hahah

I can kind of, really feel it now. Although I 'm still kind of not used to the new class, after being in 207 for soooo long =P I like everyone around me, even people I despise last time, or people whom I thought I have nothing to talk to them about. Appreciate everyone around me. Haha =)

We just had a Math Quiz thing today, I totally CMI-ed. I literally won't be surprised to get a zero for that. ZERO. It seriously does not feel good I tell you.

As I said, I'm failing at Physics too.

As you can see, I have no better title for today's post. LOL.

Anyway, today was quite...happening.

It first started with me getting on to the public transport the moment I reach the MRT platform or the Bus Stop. The moment I reached the bust stop in front of my block, Bus 31 came and I hopped on. The moment I reached the point on the MRT Platform where I always aboard the MRT, the train arrived. The moment I reached the Clementi Bus Interchange, 196 was there. Interesting, isn't it.

This is not the best part. I literally slept my way to school today. Know what, on all the 3 public transports I took today, I fell asleep the moment I got myself onto a seat, and I always manage to wake up the moment I reach the station I'm supposed to alight. Epic. =P

PHYSICAL EDUCATION a.ka. PE today was insane!

Ran 4 Rounds around the track, followed by 4 sets of arm muscle conditioning, 100 triceps training, and 400 of another training for the arm, which I forgot the name. T.T

Physics Tutoring~
Eugene came to school to tutor me physics today and my physics totally CMI. I'm going to do the questions in the TB for practice man T_T I think he was about to puke when teaching me already >.<>.< I better buck up before the next tutoring before he starts to use me as all his falling/jumping-off-cliff/pilot-of-faulty-planes objects in the questions o.O

I think Roy had a much easier life trying to tutor me Chemistry last time. Okay maybe except for the first tutoring right before Year 2 Sem 1 Chem Exam when I asked him about the same topic for literally the whole day cos I simply don't get the new topic. =P But hey, I scored perfect marks for all the questions on that topic during exam okay! (Except for the insane pickle question). I actually remember ...~.~

Then went to NTUC with Vivian to buy the Lollipops for the class's valentine's day present and the plaster/bandage for the First Aid Kit thing. Then I bought valentine's day present for friends too! =))

Dance Prac

Lol, today went for a Dance Practice for SLI Performance.

This is the first dance practice I had after such a looooonnnng time. >.<
The last time I actually was involved in dance was like, Primary 6 o.O

Joined the Hip Hop part of the SLI Dance for fun, laughter, peace and joy! =D hahaha. And yeah it really was fun. =D

Managed to pick up the steps quite fast, but I realised I totally CMI at spinning. =.=
I CAN'T BALANCE. what the hell.

The steps are quite nice/cool/whatever =P And that's only the chorus where everyone dance together, not the real hip hop steps yet. Hehehe. For some reason, I'm looking forward to practice on Saturday o.O

Lol.

Oh, chem quiz was pretty well done. Hmm. NEEDS TO STUDY MATH T.T

I feel that I have no, specialty. Or rather, I can't do my best in something. Often I'm just already satisfied with what I already am and I lack the determination and perseverance to strive for the better. I lose interest in something after doing it for a long time.

When everything come together, I just feel like escaping, or sleep and then wake up and get headache again.

I had a CAP of 4.57, so what? I dare not say that I'm good, I was more of a mugger than someone who is truly strong in academia.

This semester, I'm going to have my CAP dropping to the lowest it can get.

I'm feeling very chinese now and I'm so tempted to blog in Chinese.

Although I'm from China, my chinese totally CMI. I don't know how to say many things in chinese. You might not want to compare my chinese to the china scholars in my level. You will realised how sucky it is XD hahaha.

There was one period last last year I think, I went all Chinese, I blogged in Chinese, my MSN was chinese, my phone was in chinese. Hahaha. =D

Frankly, it feels good(: It feels like I'm back in China again and I'm still a true Chinese no matter what. It's like, hey you're in Singapore for 8 years, your chinese is getting sucky, you can't express yourself in Chinese as good as you can in English but LOOK, don't forget your roots. Hahah.

Well China is quite far behind in some things compared to other countries in the world, chinese kind of lack ethical values and stuff. But truly, I still prefer to be in China. If I had a choice, if not for Education, I would have stayed in China.

For those planning to go overseas to study (other than universities), well I guess you should really reconsider. It's...not very fun. The difference, the culture, the language (if it applies). But I agree that it gives you a lot of exposure, it allows you to gain experience which many won't go through, it forces you to face the reality, it allows you to grow up and be mature.

Local students in our school say that China Scholars who came in Year 3 are all very competitive and they are not fun to be with. I guess it's because of the difference in culture, the common topics in coversations, and stuff. And hey, they are here to study, aren't they? If they aren't competitive and strive to be good in academics, what else are they here for? This applies to me as well actually to be frank, I won't say that I'm not competitive.

I feel that I'm in neither groups actually, I'm somewhere in between. I'm too Singapore for the Chinese and I'm too Chinese too for the Singaporean. Too chinese as in, well I'm fine in all ways just certain things which we don't always come across. Do I make sense? Okay nevermind. >.<

Okay I shall stop talking about this.

So anyway, I went for the Leadership Workshop in Pei Hwa today. Not as a student but as a facilitator. Well, now I realised how hard it is to handle primary school kids. I mean, yes they are good, but don't get the same thing as you. Example, small things to you may mean a lot to them, they see it as unfair. Yeah.

The bus trip to Pei Hwa this morning was crazy. First, i went over to the Tampines Bus Interchange to meet Royston at 6.15am and I realised that there's actually 23 at the bus stop right in front of my house. Royston was late so I took 23 to TP to meet him. I didn't know there were 2 bus stops in front of TP so i alighted at the wrong one, ended up waiting for another bus. So finally we met and we took to Sim Lim square and changed to 170. Royston was blur and we alighted at the wrong bus stop. >.< We had to wait for another bus.

Haha. It's just epic. Lol.

Then both of us were super super sleepy on the way back. You should really listen to the kind of tone we were talking with. I slept at 4pm later on when i reached home and I woke up at 9.30. I didn't do any work today again and I'm going to sleep soon. Rawr.

I need my weekend to make up all that sleep time I missed during Weekdays man.
